A cuisine and sustainable tourism lover, this is the experience that Prince Charles of England took during his visit to Mexico: the visit to the chinampas. Ten minutes away from Xochimilco is San Gregorio, a traditionally chinampera community, where more than 1500 locals grow 35 types of lettuce, Swiss chard, tomatoes with a variety of shapes, herbs and much more. You will learn how the more than 1500 inhabitants of the area grow their produce and live, whose chinampas have an active tradition since 900. We will take a boat ride and at the end we will taste a delicious meal together, with freshly cut vegetables from our chinampa. Exquisite is an underrated thing to say! The meeting point is in San Gregorio Atlapulco.
